The Facilitator's Guide, all six lessons from the participant's Study Guide, and an Answer Key for the Questions for Understanding are all included in the Leader's Guide. The Facilitator's Guide explains how to organize, publicize, and present the study. Each workbook has a soft-to-the-touch matte finish that is non-glare and scuff-resistant. Its flat binding is both sturdy and sleek, ensuring that it will withstand many uses while also looking elegant on your bookshelf.
You can present the program in six or seven 60-90 minute sessions for group study. Each session should include a viewing of a video and a group discussion of the Study Guide questions. All study coordinators and group facilitators are welcome to sign up for free training webinars.
Each lesson in the Guide contains extensive commentary on Bishop Barron's video as well as "Questions for Understanding." "based on the video, Scripture, and the Catholic Church's Catechism The "Application Questions" "Each lesson helps us to connect the material to our own lives and experiences.
Bishop Barron directed the study commentary, which was written by Elizabeth Scalia, a well-known author, editor, and speaker. Ms. Scalia is also a Benedictine oblate and the managing editor of Patheos.com's Catholic Portal.
Before the small group discussion, participants read the commentary in their Study Guide and prepare the questions. This preparation can be done before or after watching the video.
