In the year 2017 the world became aware that Pope Francis has a great devotion to St. Joseph and that he keeps a statue of him in his bedroom. It was told that every night before going to bed Pope Francis puts a handwritten note with his personal intentions under the St. Joseph statue for the saint to pray on his behalf as he sleeps. Since that time there has been a big interest for everyone to get their hands on a replica of the statue.
