Ear Oil is a formula specifically intended for topical use in the ear as an analgesic for symptomatic relief of pain associated with acute otitis media (middle ear infections) and otitis externa (outer ear infections).
Ear Oil contains certified organically grown or wildcrafted herbs, macerated in extra-virgin olive oil.
A clinical trial using a product with an ingredient composition identical to ours was compared with a standard anodynal drug preparation for ear pain associated with acute otitis media. The authors found a statistically significant benefit for pain with both treatments, noting that there was no difference in efficacy between groups. The research team reinforced their findings in another trial conducted two years later.
Combinations to consider: Consider Laprinola orally for use during ear infections, as well as the EchinaSera for kids. **Please note that inner ear infections can become quite acute and possibly dangerous so if one has an inner ear infection, please consult with a Professional health care practitioner as soon as possible.
Administration: 5 drops of oil placed directly in the external ear canal, three times daily, as needed.
Contra-indications and Cautions: Consult a health care practitioner before use if you have changes in hearing or discharge from the ear. Occasional allergic reactions have occurred in sensitive individuals; discontinue use if this occurs.
