This Theology of the Body for Teens: Middle School Starter Pack includes:
  • 3-DVD set
  • Leader’s Guide
  • Student Workbook
  • Parent’s Guide

There is little doubt that pre-teens are in an often perplexing period of quest and discovery, particularly with regard to their bodies, sexuality, and future. There are numerous sources ready to supply answers, ranging from the airwaves to peers to the Internet.

If you're familiar with the Theology of the Body for Teens program, you'll recognize and appreciate the format of the Theology of the Body for Teens: Middle School Edition right away. It, too, employs a terrific blend of stories, real-life examples, exercises, prayers, and references to modern-day sex-ed up culture that are pertinent to the lives of the youth.

This can be utilized as a stand-alone curriculum, but it also works well as a prerequisite for the High School Edition.

The 8-session Middle School curriculum contains a Leader's Guide, a Student Workbook, a Parent's Guide, and an entertaining and interactive video.

Complete with a Nihil obstat and Imprimatur, Theology of the Body for Teens: Middle School Edition answers questions such as:

  • Who am I?
  • Are there consequences to my actions?
  • What is the difference between love and lust?
  • How do I balance family, friends, school, God, music, TV, internet, social media, etc., in my daily life?
  • How can I discern my vocation to marriage, priesthood, or religious life?
  • How do I deal with parent's divorce, bullying, gossip, peer pressure, pornography, sexual advances, sexting, etc?
  • Can I live my Catholic faith no matter how I messed up in the past?

Designed to be appropriate for ages 11-14

This is a Catholic program for pre-teens that is specifically created to assist parents and instructors in discussing difficult but vital themes in a way that is easy to understand. This Theology of the Body For Teens Middle School Starter Pack is essential in the midst of the noise and cognitive dissonance caused by today's erroneous messages in the media and society. Teens want to know THE TRUTH, and this is all about TRUTH—honoring God, our creator, and the bodies He has given us.

"Theology of the Body is a difficult subject to teach to adults, teens are even more tricky. This program amazed me with the ease of discussion and tangents for the group on such a sensitive subject."

Great version of TOB for kids in those awkward years of entering puberty and in the first years as a teen. It addresses more about how they can feel good about themselves and a little less on the dating aspect than the older teen version offers.

Finally There is a trusted Theology of the Body course that isn't too revealing. Thanks to Brian Butler, Jason Evert, Colin and Aimee MacIver for picking up where Saint John Paul II left off. This program allows children to be children without any overload. I recommend the Theology of the Body for Teens: Middle School Starter Pack. It is also a very good value.
