Novena Meditations to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Novenas in honor of Jesus are moments of shared friendship with him in heaven. Traditionally, a novena is a prayer or set of prayers repeated for nine consecutive days, but it can just as well be accomplished in nine hours of one day or be spread out to include one day each week for nine consecutive weeks.

The novena meditations in this prayer booklet honor the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a symbol of God’s eternal, unconditional love. Through these meditations, we bring Christ into our lives and share with him our needs and worries. We ask him to join his prayers with ours and, as we do, our friendship with God grows.
