The news that Jesus is the Messiah is spreading. Increased fame results in larger audiences, more disciples, and additional miracles. It also presents difficulties. Mary is confronted with old problems. Tension erupts between Simon and Matthew. James and John struggle with their biases and violent tempers. However, they continue to pursue with fervour the man they do not always comprehend but will always follow. Included on two discs are eight episodes.

THE CHOSEN: SEASON THREE

In Season 3, when Jesus sends the twelve disciples on their first mission, they confront new anxieties and entrenched, former ways that no longer work. Each individual also bears his own burden: Matthew's estrangement from his family, Little James' unhealed disability, Simon Z's unresolved past, and Simon and Eden's marital crisis, to mention a few. In the meantime, multitudes of migrants like Veronica and Jairus urgently seek Jesus for respite from overwhelming crises and oppressive religious and Roman authorities. Thousands converge on Jesus, initially to dispute and then to attend. As His sermon continues into the following day, they find themselves in a new predicament: far from home, hungry, and without sustenance... until a child with five loaves and two fish appears...
