Young Bevan longs for the festival of the fire: a night of celebration honoring Balor, the god of light! Once the huge bonfire is lit, Bevan can forget all about his boring life as a goatherd and dance and jump with his friends. But Bevan's daydreams about the party are interrupted by an oddly dressed stranger named Patrick, who has traveled to tell the king about the God he worships: one God in three persons. When Patrick learns about the fire and the upcoming festival, he boldly decides to light his own fire to honor God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
What will happen to Patrick and the fire? Will Bevan get to know the true God? This fiery legend of unquenchable faith and devotion to the Holy Trinity, retold by Cornelia Mary Bilinsky, will inspire readers young and old!
