Father Paul of Moll was a nineteenth-century Flemish Benedictine monk whose humility and life of prayer earned him the title of wonderworker. Born Francis Luyckx, he entered the Abbey of Termonde and was later entrusted with founding the monastery of Steenbrugge and restoring the ancient Abbey of Afflighem. Despite his constant desire for monastic hiddenness, his reputation for heroic sanctity drew countless pilgrims from across Europe seeking spiritual and physical healing.
In this biographical account, his friends and contemporaries recount his tireless service to the poor, his mysterious ability to read consciences, and his unwavering trust in the intercession of Saint Benedict. Dear Reader, these pages bear witness to the remarkable power of the Medal of Saint Benedict, the fruits of steadfast faith, and the extraordinary ways God works through humble souls wholly surrendered to His will. Discover in this inspiring life a renewed confidence in God’s boundless love and the abundant graces He bestows upon those who seek Him with a sincere heart.
