The Institute of Jesuit Sources was founded in St. Louis in 1961 and moved to Boston College’s Institute for Advanced Jesuit Studies on December 1, 2014.

The Institute of Jesuit Sources publishes texts and studies in Jesuit history, spirituality, and pedagogy, including:

  • Foreign publications on Jesuits in English translation
  • Research tools in Jesuit studies
