Adaptive Finding God Program Kit

Adaptive Finding God is a comprehensive Catholic faith formation program from Loyola Press designed especially for children with special needs. Flexible and adaptable, the program can be used in parishes, schools, classrooms, faith formation programs, or at home.

The program provides catechists, teachers, parents, and program leaders with practical resources, hands-on learning tools, and guidance to help children of varying abilities grow in their understanding of the Catholic faith and participate more fully in the life of the Church.

Grades 1–8

One Adaptive Finding God Program Kit supports Grades 1 through 8. A separate Adaptive Finding God Kit is not required for each grade.

The kit is designed to complement Loyola Press's regular Finding God Grades 1–8 curriculum and provides resources that can be adapted to meet the individual learning needs of each child.

Important Information About Student Workbooks

There are no separate Adaptive Finding God student workbooks included with this program, nor are there individual Adaptive workbooks for each grade level.

For parishes, schools, or families already using the regular Finding God Grades 1–8 program, the Adaptive Finding God Kit can be incorporated alongside the appropriate grade-level Finding God materials.

This allows children with special learning needs to participate in the same faith formation program as their peers while benefiting from adapted instruction, hands-on activities, visual resources, and additional learning tools.

Two Levels of Instruction

The Adaptive Finding God Program offers two approaches:

Hands-On Level

Not tied to a specific grade. This approach is particularly helpful for children who benefit from individualized or one-on-one instruction using concrete, visual, and hands-on learning experiences.

Adapted Grade Level – Grades 1–8

Designed for children participating in the regular Finding God curriculum. The Adaptive Kit provides modifications and learning tools that can be incorporated into Finding God Grades 1–8 lessons according to the child's individual needs.
