Dr. Remi Amelunxen takes us to the Old City of Jerusalem to begin our pilgrimage to the Holy Land, showing out major spots related to Our Lord and Our Lady. Then we see all of the major cities and towns in the Holy Land.

Dr. Amelunxen discusses the Church's crises, the History of the Mass, and the specifics of the Passion as he follows the passages of Ven. Mary of Agreda's City of God. It is a pilgrimage, but it is also an uplifting meditation on Christ's life.

For ease of watching, the presentation is broken into four sessions.

The Introduction focuses on the terrible apostasy in our Holy Catholic Church as a preface to the slide presentation. Dr. Amelunxen discusses the messages and predictions of Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of La Salette, and Our Lady of Good Success as they apply to the current global situation.

In Session One, we traverse the Via Dolorosa [Way of the Cross] in Jerusalem's Old City, where a Church now stands on the location of each Station. We go to the Tower of Antonia, where Pilate was tried, the Church of the Flagellation, where Our Lord was scourged, and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where Our Lord was crucified, died, and was buried.

Dr. Remi's observations on the heinous Passion are mostly based on the revelations of Ven. Mary of Agreda, Ven. Anne Catherine Emmerick, and St. Bridget. He also goes into great length on the Holy Shroud of Turin.

In Session Two, we go to the Cenacle's Upper Room, where the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass was instituted. Dr. Remi discusses the history of the Mass from the Last Supper to the present day, as well as the Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano.

Then it was on to the Church of the Dormition, where the Blessed Mother died, and the House of Caiphas, where Our Lord was first tried. We cross the Kidron Valley to the Church of the Agony, which is located in the Garden of Gethsemane, where Our Lord suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane.

The Church of the Assumption, where Our Lady was assumed into Heaven, and the Chapel of the Ascension at the summit of the Mount of Olives, where Our Lord ascended into Heaven, are both noteworthy sites to visit.

Session Three concentrates on En Karem, the location of the Blessed Mother's Visitation with her cousin St. Elizabeth, Bethany, where Lazarus was raised from the dead, and Bethlehem, the birthplace of Our Lord Jesus Christ Dr. Remi tells the remarkable story of the Nativity Basilica and offers meditations based on The City of God.

Then we proceed south down the Jordan River to the site of Our Lord's baptism by St. John the Baptist and the institution of the Sacrament, Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, and Sodom and Gomorrah, which were destroyed by God as punishment for their crimes.

Session Four tours various sights in northern Israel, beginning with Mount Carmel, where we learn about Elias and the false priests of Baal. Then it moved on to the Holy House in Nazareth, which was trans-located by the angels to Loreto in Italy, and Mount Tabor, where Our Lord was transfigured for the second time before His Passion.

Following the lovely Sea of Galilee, we arrive in Capharnaum, where Our Lord delivered the Beatitudes. The Church of the Multiplication, where Our Lord performed the miracle of the loaves and fishes, is not far distant. From there, we travel to Tabgha, where Our Lord appeared to His apostles following His Resurrection, and then to the Church of the Beatitudes.

Physical travel to the Holy Land is perilous at the moment. How many people have said that seeing this slide show and hearing the comprehensive history is the finest alternative to visiting there!

This is a remarkable tour in four sessions - you can choose one for each evening - or plan an afternoon to take the whole pilgrimage.
