Teaching your children to pray the Rosary is a great responsibility. Helping them understand the words and meanings of the Rosary is an even greater responsibility. With this Cd, rather than just saying the words, we can train help them and ourselves recall the Scripture and meaning behind the Mysteries of the Rosary, so that we can really listen to what God is saying. There is no greater gift to give your children than their faith and to teach them to pray. Prayer is a habit that will keep them close to God and help them grow in virtue.
The Glorious Mysteries
The last of the 4-volume set of the Mysteries of the Rosary includes an introductory discussion from the Catechism of the Catholic Church on prayer and the Blessed Virgin Mary, followed by a Scriptural Rosary, including more than a dozen children. Each mystery is introduced by an explanation of "what happened in the mystery." Then, before each "Hail Mary," a child reads a verse from the Scriptural revelation of the mystery. At the conclusion, listen and learn two age-old Gregorian chant melodies, the Kyrie and the Sanctus, performed by Kelly Schiffiano. Original orchestral music by William Straub aids the beauty of the meditations.
This is a great CD's for car rides or at night in your home, when praying the Rosary with children can be difficult.
