The Study Guide is intended to be used in conjunction with the Eucharist DVD or CD. It will improve your understanding and interaction with Bishop Barron's presentation on the Most Holy Sacrament, whether you are studying on your own or as part of a group faith formation program.
The program is available in four or five 90-minute sessions. Each section of the study guide contains in-depth commentary on the DVD as well as "Questions for Understanding." "based on the DVD presentation, Scripture, and the Catholic Church's Catechism There are also "Questions for Reflection" sections "that aid in the connection of the material to your own life and experience
Each group study session should include a viewing of the DVD and a group discussion of the Study Guide questions. Before the small group discussion, participants should read the commentary in the study guide and prepare questions. This preparation can be done before or after they watch the DVD.
Examine the Eucharist, the "source and summit" of our Faith, in greater depth. In this series, Bishop Barron illuminates the Blessed Sacrament's reality as the Real Presence of Jesus Christ, the sacrifice required for communion with God, and a sacred meal.
