These vehicles frequently featured raised, reinforced glass enclosures at the rear, allowing the Pope to be seen while ensuring his safety. The accommodations in Popemobiles also accommodated clergy and security personnel. Newer models have emerged over time with enhanced safety features, enhanced visibility, and luxurious amenities. The Popemobile continues to be an iconic symbol, providing a secure platform for the Pope to interact with the devout during his global public appearances.
